In Windows to change the system settings
Control Panel
Network & Internet -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings
Then Uncheck everythting.
Internet Explorer
Go to Internet Options – Connections – Look at LAN Settings
Proxy should NOT be checked
Chrome
Settings -> Show Advanced Options
Under Network click “Change Proxy Settings”
Make sure everything is unchecked.
Firefox
Click on the settings tab on far right corner
In the Settings Menu click on Advanced -> Network tab
Next to the Connection section click on the “Settings” button
Then select use system proxy settings
